Sea graffitti

Out for the usual walk today, and spotted this as I walked along the sea wall. At first I thought it was something that someone had sprayed onto the breakwater, but then realised it was actually a natural effect, done by the sea as the tide came in.
It looks exactly as someone would paint it though, don't you think?
