An afternooon at the Blow and Glow

Today was a bit discombobulated.

After heading into town to have a barny at the John Lewis Gift List peeps we headed to the local car boot to fulfill S's requirement for cheap reading material and my requirement for some DVDs.
A bag of "stuff" later we were out and off to Artisan Roast for some well deserved caffination.

Homeward bound to allow S to catch up on the good ol' X Factor and Strictly from the night before. It would have been that bit more entertaining had it not been for the local new reporter spoiling it for S earlier in the day - hey ho.

2nd last job for the day was a trip to the dump local amenity site to rid ourselves of the masses of cardboard JL had left the previous day. With one manky car we headed onwards for a was at the local Morrisons - only to find it bust - no pressure.
So, a bit of a trek later and £6 lighter we got to the automated car wash at ASDA at the Jewel. What else is a boy to do when getting his car washed - the radio was out as we'd taken the aerial off before we started. VW's radios seem to perform *really* badly without the aerial in place. So, blackberry out, and blip, blippedy blip blip. Aerial on, and off for steak pie for dinner. Yum.
