The Elusive Portrait
As all of you who have children know, toddlers are not easy to photograph . . . although I also understand each stage produces photographic challenges (and roadblocks) for parents. Anyway, long gone are the days when I could get Larkyn's attention even for a split second and click away. Now she's really making me work for it. I guess I can consider it really good practice. Soon I'll be able to tell my clients that no toddler is too fast or elusive . . . I'm not there yet, though! :-)
Anyway, I tried to have a photo shoot with Larkyn this morning after her bath, but she would have nothing to do with it. Complete failure. I'm a persistent one, though, and I continued to try and snap shots here and there throughout the day. Finally, outside, she was in her play house, and I was holding one of our dogs in my lap with my left arm, clicking with my right. Because I had the dog up next to the camera, she looked my direction. The things we'll do for a blip!
Oh, and speaking of photoshoots with toddlers, have you seen My Girl's Blip for today (Saturday)? This is a wonderfully successful toddler photoshoot. Kudos to Karen! :-)
Hope Everyone is enjoying a wonderful weekend!
