Prop making

This is Isaac, he has been in the Summer Youth Musical Theater for 3 years now and is a pro at paper mache'. He is making the very large tea pot for the Mad Hatter scene, we are using a small exercise ball for the form, I will mold the handle and spout tomorrow. We also have 5 large tea cups in different shapes and sizes.
The kids all got their parts today and there was much excitement. The girl that was cast to be the Carpenter in the Walrus and the Carpenter didn't know what a carpenter is and had to be enlightened. I guess we don't have "carpenters" so much anymore, it seems weird.
The room we work in is pretty dilapidated, it is actually one of the last rooms in the Art Center scheduled for renovation but at this time it is in sad shape. The building is over 100 years old after all.
I used HDR on this to bring out his face since he was backlit, I found the result quite satisfactory.
