Metro

Yesterday, Dubai appeared to run out of petrol - well, Emarat petrol stations ran dry. Quite absurd for one of the world's largest oil producing nations but Dubai firms buy on the open market and then have to sell at a low price fixed by the government. Apparently, they sell petrol at a loss with the current high oil price and this has caused 'logistical difficulties'. So, I decided to get the Metro to work this morning.

This is my local station, Noor Islamic Bank. It takes a bit longer but I felt pretty smug on the way back as I looked down at the traffic jam I would otherwise have been stuck in!
