Midland Hotel

Took off to Morecambe and Blackpool as the weather looked promising. After a breakfast at Brucciani's Café and a brisk walk along the prom, we sat awhile over a coffee and a rose petal tea in the Art Deco splendour of the refurbished 1933 beachfront Midland Hotel. (more pics here)

Blackpool, however, turned out to be a 21st century version of Hieronymus Bosch's Garden of Earthly Delights.
