I am a proud father of three children who do their best to keep us parents occupied, variously involving cooking, crafting, learning and laughing, together with occasional lounge watering and free style wall decorating. I work and commute at length, leaving little time for parenting, not to mention cooking, toy mending, occasional plumbing, electricing, carpenting and frequent bringing of firewood.

I particularly enjoy spending time out of doors, in the garden or further afield. The art of engaging children in outdoors fun, whilst photographing landscapes (with and without pylons), and all the flora and fauna they contain is a fine one to master. Given the above priorities, I am an inexperienced photographing father, but willing to take each and every opportunity, however rarely they might arise.

My Blipfoto journey began in 2010 with earnest and with a flourish of about 200 consecutive entries. Since then, it has been a bit of a stop-start affair. I am determined however that 2015 will bring me 2 things:

1. A return to regular cycling, which will require fewer hours in the office

2. My first '365 blip year'.
