Hello. My name is Joe and I'm the founder of Polaroid Blipfoto.
It started life on 21 October 2004 as my personal photo diary. I set out to take and upload a picture every day and, aside from two days, I've managed to do precisely that ever since.
When it was just mine, people kept asking me if I could help them set up something similar. I soon realised there wasn't anything out there that really fitted the bill, so along with a few colleagues, we launched a very basic version of what you see now.
Things have grown like crazy since then, and what started as a small, personal project has become home to the most wonderful online community I've ever had the pleasure of being part of. At the start of 2015 Blipfoto became Polaroid Blipfoto.
On my own journal, I simply share a little piece of something that's happened to me that day - if I happen to get a great picture or write something interesting, all the better. But it's the act of recording something that keeps me going, as it's such a wonderful thing to look back on.
